The Crifel Station Woolshed is a self-described ‘high-country’, rustic venue situated atop elevated plains that overlook rolling plains as far as the eye can see. The venue was built on a 2000 hectare deer farm and featuring two spectacular sites for the ceremony or wedding. The venue features a stone hut, that overlooks the Clutha Basin, where the Woolshed is more fitting for indoor events or activities. One of the only venues with a perfect 5 star Google rating, so definitely give this incredibly unique New Zealand venue a look.

One of our favourite venues on here, the Old Forest School is exactly as it sounds – a historic school shut down in the 80’s, now restored to its former glory. The buildings have all been restored while still keeping their original charm and beauty, and is really a sight to be seen. Barns, tin sheds and old wooden halls are just some of the landmarks of this fantastic wedding venue.
